James Intveld's Swing Sinners
have been a catalyst to the ever-growing swing circuit for the past six years. They debuted at the popular Hollywood hotshop, The Derby. Their music has been influenced by Forties Big Band, irresistible East-Coast Swing, and the fun-loving rhythms of New Orleans Jazz, let's say from Frank Sinatra to Fats Domino to Louis Jordan, with a touch of Chet Baker.

The group consists of the finest musicians Los Angeles has to offer due to the respect and admiration all the musicians have for James Intveld. As a singer James is known for numerous recording projects. His vocals were used for Johnny Depp in the movie "Cry Baby" and his songs have been heard in the movies "Frankie & Johnny" and "Wild at Heart".

The Swing Sinners have played all the top venues in Hollywood, including the Bel Air Country Club, E1 Rey Theater, Drai's in Beverly Hills, the Atlas Supper Club, the Buffalo Club and the famous Gold Room at the Biltmore Hotel and most recently to a capacity crowd at Club Ra at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. The band was recently featured in the film "The Bet", and are quite at home playing celebrity events and parties, including Nicolette Sheridan's birthday party, wrap parties for E.R, Friends, Beverly Hills 90210 and industry parties for Oliver Stone, CBS TV, Virgin Records, Fox TV, Paramount and Warner Bros.
